Check-in/Check-out:
Normally check-in is from 2 pm and on the day of departure guests are
asked to leave the apartment by 11 am. However the apartment owners
try to be flexible and if possible ensure early check-in or late
check-out options. Please always let your requests known in advance.
At most apartments a luggage deposit is possible.
Key
pick-up/arrival:
The key can be picked up at a previously agreed time at the
apartment. There is no reception, the apartment owner or his/her
representative only goes there to meet you, hands over the keys and
collects payment. Please let us know your expected arrival time as
detailed as possible (eg. flight nr.) and provide your mobile phone
number to be able to get in touch in case of delays. You will also
receive a stand-by phone number, that you can call in case of delay
or other problems.
Arriving
by car:
It is not easy to estimate your arrival time when coming by car.
Please call the given stand-by number when you are appr. 30
kilometres away from Budapest.
Payment:
The
payment is due upon arrival, please have it ready along with the
deposit (where applicable). The apartment owners can accept cash
only. If you wish to pay in advance via bank transfer, it can be
arranged – please indicate it when making a booking.
Deposit:
At some
flats a deposit is requested upon arrival (usually one night fee). It
is returned upon departure, if no damage was made.
Cleaning:
The
final cleaning is included in the price. If you are staying longer,
bedsheets and towels are changed every 7th
day. It is
possible to arrange cleaning more frequently for a small extra fee,
please indicate your request in advance.
Bedsheets
and towels:
bedsheets and towels
are provided, you don't need to bring these
with you.
Minimum
stay: The
minimum stay can be different at the certain apartments and
especially at highly frequented periods such as Easter, Formula 1,
Sziget Festival, New Year's Eve, etc. Please check it before booking.
Otherwise the owners try to be flexible. One night stays are only
possible with paying a small surcharge, the amount of which may vary.
Cancellation/modification:
We do not ask for credit
card guarantee, however if you do not need the accommodation you have
booked, we ask you to please cancel it as soon as possible. In most
cases we contact you (via e-mail or telephone) approximately one-week
before your arrival to re-confirm your stay. In some cases we may
ask for pre payment per bank transfer (e.g. extra season, booking
more apartments, etc.).
Prices:
The prices
contain the accommodation fee, final cleaning, gas, electricity,
water consumption, linen, towels and taxes. No extras.
